TTD Announces Good News for Local and NRI Devotees
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has made a key announcement that brings good news for both local (Tirupati) and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) devotees. According to TTD, tokens for Srivari darshan will be issued on February 9 for Tirupati locals who wish to visit the Tirumala temple on February 11. These tokens will be available at Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati and Balaji Nagar Community Hall in Tirumala.
It may be recalled that due to Ratha Saptami on February 4, TTD had rescheduled the special darshan for Tirupati residents from the first Tuesday of February to the second Tuesday of the month.
In addition, TTD has announced a significant update for NRI devotees. The number of VIP break darshan slots allotted to NRIs has been increased from 50 to 100 per day. This decision was made in response to requests from NRI devotees. With this change, 100 NRIs along with their family members will now have a smoother and more convenient darshan experience at the temple.
Expressing their happiness over TTD’s decision, NRI devotees have conveyed their gratitude to the temple administration and the governing board.
