Case Filed Against JC Prabhakar Reddy
A case has been registered against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former Tadipatri MLA JC Prabhakar Reddy. Cyberabad police took action following allegations that he made inappropriate remarks against actress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Madhavi Latha.
The controversy began during a New Year event organized by JC Prabhakar Reddy in Tadipatri, which was specifically meant for women and witnessed a large turnout. However, Madhavi Latha released a video advising women not to attend the event, claiming that the venue was unsafe.
Reacting to her statements, JC Prabhakar Reddy allegedly made derogatory remarks against Madhavi Latha, referring to her in an offensive manner. Later, he issued an apology, stating that his comments were made in the heat of the moment.
Despite his apology, Madhavi Latha lodged a complaint with the Cyberabad police a few days ago, stating that JC Prabhakar Reddy’s comments had caused her mental distress. Based on her complaint, the police have now registered a case against him. Although it was initially believed that the issue had been resolved after JC Prabhakar Reddy’s apology, the filing of the case has once again brought the matter into the spotlight.
