Gunfire Scare in Hyderabad as Rival Groups Clash Over Land Dispute

A clash between two groups over a land dispute in Tolichowki, Hyderabad, caused significant commotion on Saturday night. According to reports, Shakeel, a resident of Golconda, along with several associates, went to the house of Akhtar, a real estate businessman, in Tolichowki and got into an altercation.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Humayun Nagar Police Station officer Balakrishna, along with his team, reached the location. Reports suggested that gunfire was heard during the confrontation. As a result, the police examined a licensed firearm belonging to Akhtar. However, officer Balakrishna confirmed that no evidence was found to suggest that any shots were fired.

He further stated that neither party had filed a complaint at the police station. The police have taken suo moto cognizance of the incident and assured a thorough investigation, warning that strict action will be taken against those involved in the clash. The incident, rooted in a land dispute, has created significant unrest in the locality.
