Centre invites bids for South Coast Railway Zone Office complex in Vizag

The Central government has issued a tender notice for constructing the general manager’s office complex for the South Coast Railway Zone in Visakhapatnam

. The proposed nine-story building will include two basement levels, a ground floor, and comprehensive associated facilities.
 
The tender submission deadline has been set for December 12, with the project estimated to cost Rs 149.16 crore. This development follows the allocation of 53 acres of land by the Chandrababu Naidu-led government for the establishment of the railway zone’s office.
 
The South Coast Railway Zone, announced in 2019, has been a key demand for the region and is expected to enhance railway operations and administrative efficiency in Andhra Pradesh.
