YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader and former minister R.K. Roja sharply criticized the coalition government, claiming it has subjected people to misery within just six months of its formation. Speaking at a review meeting in Nagari today, Roja accused the government of betraying women, students, and youth. She alleged that the present Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who promised wealth creation before the election, has instead burdened the state with increasing debts.

Roja dismissed the notion that the public caused the YSRCP's electoral defeat, asserting that it was the coalition leaders’ false propaganda that led to the party’s loss. She claimed that people are now regretting the defeat of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who had implemented several welfare schemes during his tenure as CM. According to Roja, Jagan had transformed schools remarkably under his administration, while the current coalition government is focusing on expanding liquor shops.

She alleged that some government employees had vowed to defeat Jagan but are now lamenting their decision to support Chandrababu Naidu. Roja expressed confidence that the YSRCP would form the next government and predicted the party’s victory in all constituencies, including Kuppam, in the combined Chittoor district.

Roja further warned that those causing trouble for the YSRCP cadre would face consequences with interest. She also accused certain media outlets of spreading falsehoods against the party.
