The Indian girls, determined not to back down, triumphed in the final match to secure their victory. With this win, Team India clinched the first-ever Asia Cup in the Under-19 category. They emerged victorious by defeating Bangladesh in the final match held in Kuala Lumpur. This tournament, the first to feature a T20 format for women, saw India dominate the final, defeating Bangladesh decisively.

Batting first, Team India scored 117 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. In response, Bangladesh struggled and collapsed for just 76 runs, resulting in India winning by a margin of 41 runs and proudly lifting the trophy. This victory was particularly sweet, as India had previously lost to Bangladesh in the Under-19 Men's Asia Cup final, providing a chance to avenge that defeat.

In the final match, India lost the toss and was put into bat. They faced early setbacks when opener Kamilini (5) and one-down batter Sanika Chalke (0) were dismissed quickly. However, another opener, Trisha (52), played with determination and provided steady support to captain Nikki Prasad (12), as they added 41 runs for the third wicket. The innings faced further turbulence when Aishwari (5) and Nikki were dismissed in quick succession. Nevertheless, Mithila (17) and Ayushi Shukla (10) managed to propel the score past the hundred mark. Among the Bangladeshi bowlers, Farzana took 4 wickets, while Nishita Akhtar Nishi contributed with 2 wickets.

Bangladesh's chase was fraught with difficulty from the beginning, as the pitch turned into a bowling paradise. Even the modest target set by India felt insurmountable for Bangladesh. Apart from Jauriya Ferdos (22) and Fahomida Choya (18), the rest of the batting order faltered, with only two players managing to score in double figures.

On the Indian side, Ayushi Shukla was particularly impactful, claiming 3 wickets and breaking the opponent's momentum. Sisodia and Sonam Yadav also played crucial roles in India’s victory, each taking 2 wickets.
