The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its investigation into the case involving IAS officer Amoy Kumar
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has intensified its investigation into the case involving IAS officer Amoy Kumar over the alleged illegal privatization of Bhudan lands worth over ₹1,000 crore near Hyderabad. Notices have been issued to former BRS MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy, Vamsiram Builders chief Subba Reddy, and two others in connection with the case.
The investigation focuses on the unauthorized registration of 50 acres of Bhudan land in Nagaram, Maheshwaram Mandal. As fresh details emerged during the probe, ED issued summons to Marri Janardhan Reddy, Subba Reddy, KSR Mines’ K. Siddha Reddy, and Surya Teja of Ammada Developers, asking them to appear for questioning on December 16.
According to sources, ED suspects these individuals benefited through IAS officer Amoy Kumar. Allegations suggest that Bhudan lands were illegally converted into private plots and registered, with hundreds of crores allegedly changing hands in the process. The case, initially registered by police following a complaint from a person named Dastagiri, is now being handled by the ED.
