In a decisive move to address long-standing issues within the revenue department, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that all damaged systems will be reformed within 100 days. Speaking to the media at the party office, Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that strict action will be taken against land grabbers, and the revenue department will undergo a thorough cleanup. Naidu highlighted that a significant number of complaints received in the past five years pertain to revenue-related issues.

He assured that all complaints, irrespective of their nature, will be addressed, and officials responsible for revenue irregularities will face stringent action. “A land scandal is emerging in every mandal, with tampered records coming to light. The disorderly conduct of the re-survey has caused numerous hardships for the people,” he stated. The Chief Minister pointed to the Madanapalli incident as a stark example of the weakened state of the revenue department.

He reiterated his commitment to rectifying these issues within 100 days by prioritizing revenue-related complaints in every district. “The aim is to take more requests and solve more problems. Every issue will be resolved as soon as possible,” he assured. Naidu outlined a strategic approach to address the grievances, dividing the received requests department-wise and ensuring their resolution within specified time frames.

He acknowledged the significant problems faced by employees and the public, stating that workers’ issues, public grievances, and job-related problems will be tackled separately. To make the grievance redressal process more efficient, Naidu announced the creation of a mechanism allowing district-wise ministers and constituency-wise MLAs to take pleas locally, reducing the need for people to travel to Amaravati.

He also committed to reforming the police system to ensure no one is troubled during his district visits. “The police system will be transformed into a public policing system with restraint,” he added. Naidu also noted the positive impact of recent rains on agricultural projects, bringing relief to farmers. He said that department-wise reviews are already yielding results, demonstrating the effectiveness of his administration’s efforts.

Chandrababu participates in public grievances programme at TDP office

In a significant move to address public grievances directly, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has participated a program that aimed at receiving and resolving issues brought forth by the people at Telugu Desam Party (TDP) offices. The Chief Minister himself visited the TDP central office in Mangalagiri on Saturday, to personally listen to public concerns and receive petitions.

A large number of petitioners gathered at the party office to present their issues to the Chief Minister. Chandrababu Naidu prioritized receiving petitions from disabled individuals, assuring them that their problems would be addressed promptly. “Everyone’s problems will be solved,” the Chief Minister promised.

The initiative, which began on July 17, allows citizens to visit TDP offices and report their issues to party workers and leaders for resolution.

Over the past 50 days, more than 10,000 applications have been received from TDP members and the general public. Special arrangements have been made to ensure that ministers and senior party leaders are available at the central office to attend to these grievances.

Chief Minister Naidu has mandated that ministers be present at the party office, ensuring accessibility for both TDP members and the public. A system has been established where a minister and a senior TDP leader are available each day for ten days to address concerns. “The goal is to make the party offices a hub for addressing public grievances, ensuring that no problem goes unnoticed or unresolved,” Naidu said.
