Vigilance dept submits report on former I&PR commissioner 

The Vigilance and Enforcement Department has completed its investigation into former commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department, Tumma Vijay Kumar Reddy, who is under scrutiny for alleged irregularities during the tenure of the YSR Congress government.

A preliminary report on the investigation has been submitted to the government, shedding light on multiple instances of misconduct and rule violations by Vijay Kumar Reddy over the past five years. The report highlights his alleged misuse of power, primarily focusing on the biased issuance of advertisements and other financial irregularities. Key findings in the report include claims that Vijay Kumar Reddy adopted a partial approach in the distribution of government advertisements and improperly utilized funds from the government treasury.

It is also alleged that he diverted funds to individuals working in the social media departments of the YSR Congress Party . The report further details the involvement of Vijay Kumar Reddy and other officials in these irregularities, raising serious concerns about the abuse of power and the breach of administrative protocols. The government is expected to take further action based on the findings of this report
