Nara Bhuvaneshwari, wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, called on women to seize opportunities and achieve financial independence during her visit to Kuppam on Saturday. Addressing a gathering, she highlighted the CM's efforts to empower women through self-help groups and announced key developmental initiatives for the region.
Bhuvaneshwari revealed plans to establish ELEV in Kuppam, which is expected to provide employment to women and create avenues for them to generate further jobs. She emphasized that industries and food processing units are being set up in the area to curb migration by ensuring local employment opportunities. Bhuvaneshwari promised several initiatives, including the construction of houses for underprivileged families, addressing drainage and drinking water issues, and building community halls for BC and minority communities.
She also assured that the pending salaries of Dravida University staff, amounting to Rs 2.8 crore, would soon be released, after two years of difficulties. Additionally, plans are underway to establish a super specialty hospital in Kuppam. During her visit to Kasturba Vidyalayam in Vijalapuram, Ramakuppam mandal, Bhuvaneshwari engaged with students, encouraging them to excel in their studies and make their parents proud.
She specifically urged young girls to aspire to leadership roles, envisioning them as future company leaders. The CM's wife shared a meal with the students and received a petition concerning the school’s development.
