A door-to-door survey for digital cards will be conducted in Telangana State starting on Thursday. Digital cards will be issued as part of a pilot project in 119 constituencies. One village and one urban division in each constituency will be selected for the pilot project. A total of 238 villages and divisions have been chosen for this purpose. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will kick off the digital card survey program on Thursday. The process of going door to door and recording the health profile of families will take place from October 3rd to 7th. The pilot project’s digital health profile record process will be completed on the 7th of this month. Special officers have been appointed by the government for monitoring. Digital cards will be issued based on the information collected as part of the pilot project.

Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that a health profile will be created for every family in the state, regardless of their financial status. The primary purpose of the family card is to create a profile and issue a smart card with a unique number. The government aims to introduce the family digital card to serve the common people. Officials have been instructed to carefully enter the details of the family members to avoid mistakes in issuing these prioritized cards. The minister held a video conference with district collectors from the secretariat on Tuesday. It has been clarified that the issuance of Telangana Family Digital Cards is being piloted in 238 areas of 119 constituencies. It is recommended to select one urban and one rural area in each constituency. The details should be collected from house to house in the selected areas from the 3rd to the 7th. RDO level and Zonal Commissioner level officers have been appointed as special officers for each constituency to oversee the entire process. The CM will inaugurate the pilot project on the 3rd of this month. Based on its results, this program will be implemented across the state.

Minister Ponguleti directed the collectors to expedite the resolution of LRS (Layout Regularization Scheme) applications, as thousands of people have been waiting for LRS for four years. He expressed dissatisfaction with the slow progress of the LRS process and instructed that proposals related to the expansion of Urban Development Agencies (UDAs) and the formation of new UDAs should be sent to the government immediately. The minister also highlighted that the previous government had built few double bedroom houses, and only a few of them had been completed. Collectors are advised to select the beneficiaries of the completed houses and take steps to provide the houses before Dussehra.
