Congress moves privilege motion against PM Modi

Congress MP Charanjit Singh Channi moved a Privilege Motion notice in Lok Sabha against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over expunged portions of BJP MP Anurag Thakur’s remarks, which were tweeted by him on X and included the whole speech video. Regarding BJP MP Anurag Thakur’s remarks in Lok Sabha, BJP MP Sambit Patra said that Thakur spoke yesterday without naming anyone, and questioned why only one person felt offended and directed all Congress members to stand up.

Patra criticized this behavior and mentioned Thakur’s comments, “The number of 99 and the game of arrogance of Congress party… When Anurag Thakur yesterday spoke without naming anyone, why did only one person feel bad, and on his direction, all members of Congress stood up?
