Music director GV Prakash who has composed music for Selvaraghavan's 2010 directorial Aayirathil Oruvan and 2011 film Mayakkam Enna, is now gearing up to star as the lead in the filmmakers new project.

The makers of the film, and Selvaraghavan's actor-director brother Dhanush, have unveiled its first look poster earlier this Friday.

Titled Mental Manadhil, the film stars GV Prakash in a role that sees him as the "content-driven protagonist". GV Prakash is also the music composer of the film, and is producing the film under the banner Parallel Universe Production House.

The film stars Madhuri Jain as the female lead. However, they are yet to reveal details about the rest of the cast in the film and their characters or its plot.On the technical front, the film also features cinematographer Arun Ramakrishnan, editor Balaji, and art director RK Vijay Murugan.
