Baby John Box Office Collection Day 2: Despite good hype and excitement among fans, Varun Dhawan's action thriller is struggling. After the Christmas 2024 holiday, Baby John crashed at the box office on the second day. Nonetheless, the push it got on the first day took the total collection to Rs 15 crore.

Baby John, the new and last Bollywood release of the year, benefitted majorly due to its festive release. The action thriller arrived in theatres on Christmas 2024 and took a double-digit start. Baby John became Varun Dhawan’s biggest opening in the last 5 years. But, as a result of mixed reviews, the film saw a major decline on Thursday (December 26).

According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, Baby John earned approximately Rs 4.50 crore on the second day at the box office. The first-day collection was Rs 11.25 crore. Before entering its first weekend, the film has touched the 15-crore mark.

About Baby John

Baby John is directed by Kalees, who worked as the second director on Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. Atlee has written the story based on his 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri starring Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Amy Jackson.

Varun plays DCP Satya Verma and John in Baby John. The film marks Keerthy Suresh’s Hindi debut. She steps into the role originally played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Wamiqa Gabbi’s character is based on Amy Jackson’s role. Baby John also features Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, and Sheeba Chaddha. Zara Zyanna is Varun’s on-screen daughter in the film. Salman Khan makes a cameo in Baby John. The 5-minute-long role places him in a high-octane action sequence.
