Tulasi Reddy suggests Pawan Kalyan to merge Jana Sena with BJP
Former Rajya Sabha member and APCC chief spokesperson Dr N Tulasi Reddy has suggested that Pawan Kalyan dissolve the Jana Sena Party and merge it with the BJP. Speaking at a media conference at the party office in Vijayawada, Tulasi Reddy reiterated the BJP controls Chandrababu Naidu, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Pawan Kalyan—labeling them as mere puppets.
He claimed that the recent Jana Sena meeting in Pithapuram proved this assertion. Mocking Pawan Kalyan’s statement that he is not after power and stands on ideological strength, Tulasi Reddy questioned, “If power doesn’t matter, why seek the Deputy Chief Minister post? Why push for an MLC seat for his brother Nagababu?” He further ridiculed Pawan’s ideological stance, asking whether he follows Che Guevara’s ideology, Sanatana Dharma, or a "chameleon ideology."
Criticizing the demolition of Kasinayana Ashram by forest officials in Kadapa district, he sarcastically questioned whether this act aligned with Pawan’s Sanatana Dharma rhetoric. Tulasi Reddy also mocked Pawan’s claim that he was instrumental in founding the TDP, saying, “Pawan teaching history is like a grandson teaching his grandfather how to cough.”
He dismissed the Pithapuram meeting as nothing more than self-praise, pointing out the lack of discussion on Jana Sena’s Super Six promises. He also highlighted Pawan Kalyan’s ranking as the 10th-best-performing minister, stating that gram panchayats across the state were in disarray due to stalled works and forest department approvals.
Finally, Tulasi Reddy advised Pawan Kalyan to stop boasting and focus on his responsibilities. The press meet was attended by PCC Vice President Gurnadham, District Congress President Borra Kiran, City Congress President Narasimha Rao, and other party leaders.
