I serve people till my last drop of blood: AP CM

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his commitment to public service, declaring that he would dedicate himself to the state's progress with renewed energy in the coming years. Addressing a public gathering in Tanuku as part of the Swachh Diwas programme, Naidu pledged to work twice as hard over the next decade and make Andhra Pradesh the leading state in the country within 22 years.

"My resolve is to serve you till my last drop of blood. I have been in public service for 47 years, 41 of which I spent in the Assembly. I have worked as the Leader of the Opposition for ten years, and my entire life has been a tireless struggle. I seek your support to fulfill my vision," Naidu said.

During the interaction, the Chief Minister addressed public grievances. A woman named Nandini pointed out that certain medical tests were not covered under Arogyasri, while another individual raised concerns about delays in issuing Sadaram certificates for pensions.

In response, Naidu assured prompt action, emphasizing that his government prioritizes both welfare and development. Criticizing the previous administration, Naidu asserted that if the Telugu Desam Party had retained power in 2004, Andhra Pradesh would have reached new heights.

He also expressed regret over the 2019 election outcome, stating that a stable government is crucial for long-term progress, citing Gujarat as an example of sustained development. Earlier in the day, Naidu received a grand welcome in Tanuku, where he was greeted by ministers and party leaders, including Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, Swachh Andhra Corporation chairman K Pattabhi Ram, collector Chadalavada Nagarani, and SP Adnan Nayeem Ashwi.

The Chief Minister visited a photo exhibition on the Swarnandhra-Swachhandra initiative and reviewed displays of eco-friendly disposable items. He also honored individuals who made significant contributions to sanitation efforts across the State, presenting them with mementos. The event concluded with a student choir performing a song on cleanliness, which was well received by the attendees.
