Nani’s HIT 3 Trailer Promises Grit, Violence, and a New Kind of Mass Appeal

HIT 3: The Third Case is quickly shaping up to be one of Telugu cinema’s most anticipated releases. Starring Nani in a never-seen-before avatar and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the trailer—unveiled this morning—delivers exactly what fans were waiting for: high-stakes action, intense violence, and a protagonist who’s anything but conventional.

At a press meet held today, the team addressed several buzz-worthy elements surrounding the film. First on everyone’s mind? The graphic violence. Nani, when asked to rate its intensity, said he couldn’t really “calculate the meter,” but made one thing clear: HIT 3 stands apart. “The grammar of HIT 3 is completely different. It can’t be compared with films like Marco, Kill, or Animal. After watching it, you won’t even feel it’s a violent film,” he assured.

Another major talking point was the use of popular Hindu orator Chaganti Koteswara Rao’s voiceover in the trailer—a creative choice that instantly caught attention. Director Sailesh Kolanu clarified that this wasn’t a trendy add-on but a deliberate part of the narrative. “There’s a purpose behind using Chaganti garu’s voice. It’s not for effect. You’ll understand why once you watch the film,” he said, keeping further details under wraps.

As for whether HIT 3 fits seamlessly into the Hitverse and aligns with Nani’s star image, the actor had a clear take: “Each film in the Hitverse stands on its own. HIT 3 deals with a bigger case and offers a completely new experience. It’s up to the audience to feel that in theatres.”

Nani also reiterated his stand on the trending "Tier" classification of actors—a topic he’s previously spoken against. “It’s a stupid strategy. I don’t know who started it, but we need to stop this for the good of the film industry,” he said bluntly.

With buzz building and expectations firmly in place, HIT 3 is all set to hit theatres on May 1, 2025, promising not just action, but a deeper cinematic experience.
