Salman Khan Confirms Films with Atlee & Sanjay Dutt, But Budget Delays Actioner
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his high-budget action entertainer, Sikandar, hitting the big screens on March 30. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles.
As part of Sikandar’s promotions, Salman interacted with the Bollywood media in Mumbai last night. During the event, he was asked about his much-discussed collaboration with Atlee, the Tamil director behind Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan.
Salman on His Film with Atlee
Salman confirmed that Atlee has written a "very big-budget action film", but the project is currently delayed due to budget constraints. Interestingly, he revealed that a senior South Indian superstar—either Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan—would be part of the film whenever it goes on floors.
Salman Announces Action Film with Sanjay Dutt
In a surprising revelation, Salman announced that after Sikandar, he will collaborate with Sanjay Dutt for a massive action film. “The action in this movie will be on another level—pure rustic action,” he teased.
Speculation on Atlee’s Next Move
Following Salman’s statement, rumors surfaced that Atlee might replace Salman Khan with Tollywood star Allu Arjun. Speculation also suggests that Amaran star Sivakarthikeyan could take on the role originally planned for Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan.
While nothing is confirmed yet, clarity on Atlee’s much-anticipated project is expected in the coming days. Stay tuned!
