Jailer Sequel Underway, Shivaraj Kumar Talks Balakrishna’s Possible Role

Jailer has been a major success in South Indian cinema, marking a powerful comeback for Superstar Rajinikanth. After a series of flops, Jailer has restored Rajinikanth to the top of his game. Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, the sequel is currently in production, and rumors are swirling about the inclusion of actor Balakrishna.

Shivaraj Kumar, whose cameo in Jailer was met with a blockbuster response, is set to reprise his role in the sequel. In a recent interview, he addressed the speculation about Balakrishna’s involvement, saying, “I don’t know if he is part of the film, but it would be great if he is. I worked with him on Gauthamiputra Satakarni, and we are very good friends personally.”

Additionally, Shivaraj Kumar is set to make his debut in a full-fledged role in Telugu with the upcoming film Peddi, starring global sensation Ram Charan. He recently participated in the film's shoot.
