Pawan’s wife Anna offers prayers at Tirumala for son’s recovery

Anna Lezhneva, wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited the sacred hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala today. She took part in the early morning Suprabhata Seva, the ceremonial awakening of the deity, and had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Following the rituals, temple priests presented her with the Tirtha Prasadam, the sacred offerings of the deity.

Her visit holds special significance, coming in the aftermath of a recent fire accident at a school in Singapore, where her son, Mark Shankar Pawanovich, sustained minor injuries. As an expression of gratitude for his recovery and in fulfillment of a vow, Anna Lezhneva offered special prayers at the temple.

To mark the occasion, she also sponsored an Annadanam (mass meal) program in her son’s name. She donated Rs 17 lakhs towards the midday meal service at the Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annadana Prasadam complex in Tirumala.
