Three women killed in auto crash on Dhanapuram highway
A fatal road accident occurred on Sunday morning at Dhanapuram Highway in Parigi mandal, claiming the lives of three women and leaving seven others seriously injured. The victims, all devotees, were returning from the Chowdeshwari temple in Kotiki when their auto was struck by an unidentified vehicle.
The deceased have been identified as Alivelamma, Adilakshmi, and Sunkamma from Dodagatta village in Roddam mandal. The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. Full details are yet to emerge.
CM Naidu expresses condolences :
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the incident and extended his condolences to the bereaved families. He directed officials to ensure quality medical care for the injured and assured support to the victims' families.
District in-charge Minister Angani Satya Prasad ordered a detailed probe and also directed officials to provide proper medical care to the injured. Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy also reviewed the situation and instructed medical officers to extend the best possible treatment. He urged the public to follow transport safety measures to prevent such tragedies.
