Araku coffee stall opens in AP Assembly
The Andhra Pradesh government, under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, is intensifying efforts to promote Araku Coffee, following the successful launch of an Araku Coffee Café in the Indian Parliament. Taking the initiative further, the State has now established an Araku Coffee stall within the AP Assembly premises.
Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyannapatrudu and Deputy Speaker Raghu Ramakrishna Raju inaugurated the stall, with CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, ministers, and MLAs in attendance. A lighthearted moment occurred when CM Naidu personally handed a cup of Araku Coffee to Pawan Kalyan, who accepted it with a smile.
The dignitaries explored the range of Araku Coffee products on display, expressing their support for the initiative. The Araku Coffee promotion drive has already gained momentum at the national level. Araku Coffee stalls were recently set up at Sansad Bhavan in Parliament, following approval from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
The Girijan Cooperative Corporation Ltd. (GCC) has established temporary stalls at two locations within the Parliament canteen to promote the coffee cultivated by tribal farmers. As part of this initiative, GCC officials have also curated special Araku Coffee gift packs for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, and other dignitaries, which will be distributed within Parliament to further boost awareness and appreciation of the brand. With the government’s sustained efforts, Araku Coffee is gaining national recognition, reinforcing its status as a premium product from Andhra Pradesh.
