Cases Filed Against KTR, BRS Leaders Over SSC Paper Leak Posts

Telangana police have registered cases against BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao and others over social media posts related to the 10th class exam paper leak in Nalgonda district. BRS social media in-charge Manne Krishank and former digital media director Dileep Konatham have also been booked under sections 353(1)C and 353(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for allegedly spreading fake news.

Krishank, listed as accused number one, alleged Congress leaders’ involvement in the leak, claiming that an aide of a Congress MLA was excluded from the FIR. KTR and Dileep amplified the claim on their X handles. Complaints were filed by Nakrekal Municipal Chairperson Chougoni Rajitha and one Uggadi Srinivas, alleging damage to reputation.

Krishank dismissed the charges as false, stating that his posts didn’t name Rajitha and accusing the Congress government of suppressing facts in the case. He claimed that photos linking the accused to Congress leaders had been removed from social media accounts after the controversy erupted.
