Case Registered Against Daggubati Family; Victory Venkatesh Named as A2

A case has been registered against actor Daggubati Venkatesh’s family in connection with a dispute over the property of Deccan Kitchen Hotel.

A case has been registered against actor Daggubati Venkatesh’s family in connection with a dispute over the property of Deccan Kitchen Hotel. The FIR lists Victory Venkatesh as A2 in the case. The dispute involves Nandakumar, who claims ownership of the hotel premises, and the Daggubati family. Reportedly, in 2022, the Daggubati family, along with GHMC staff and bouncers, partially demolished the hotel.

Following the incident, Nandakumar approached the High Court, which issued orders prohibiting any further action on the property and instructed both parties to maintain the status quo. Despite the court's directive, it is alleged that the Daggubati family completely demolished the hotel in January 2023. Consequently, Nandakumar filed a petition with the Nampally Court.

On reviewing Nandakumar's petition, the Nampally Court directed the Film Nagar Police to register a case against the Daggubati family and conduct a thorough investigation. Additionally, the court instructed the police to take action against the violation of the High Court’s orders.

In compliance with the court's instructions, the Film Nagar Police have registered a case under sections 448 (trespass), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for assault), 458 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking), and 120(B) (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR lists Daggubati Suresh as A1, Venkatesh as A2, Rana Daggubati as A3, and Abhiram Daggubati as A4.
