APSRTC Announces Special Buses for Andhra Pradesh Residents in Hyderabad for Sankranti

In preparation for the significant increase in travel demand during the Sankranti festival, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC)

In preparation for the significant increase in travel demand during the Sankranti festival, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has announced a major initiative to ease the commute for passengers traveling from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh. Special buses will operate between January 9 and January 13, the officials confirmed.

APSRTC has arranged a total of 2,400 special buses to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh, departing from Hyderabad. These services will connect locations such as Chittoor, Nellore, Kurnool, Anantapur, Ongole, and Macharla, among others. All buses, including both regular and special services, will depart from the Central Bus Station (CBS) opposite MGBS in Hyderabad.

A significant aspect of this announcement is that passengers can travel on these special buses without any additional charges. APSRTC stated that this decision aims to alleviate the financial burden on people traveling during the festive season.
