The Capital News
BRS leaders are going to visit the Kaleshwaram project. They will leave after the assembly meeting and stay there for two days. This tour has sparked controversy due to allegations made by Congress leaders about the Kaleswaram project. In response to the Congress allegations, the BRS is gearing up to defend itself. BRS MLAs and MLCs will be embarking on the visit to Kaleswaram today. Following the assembly budget speech, a special bus will depart for Kaleswaram in a large rally. The first stop will be at the Lower Maneru Dam. BRS aims to exert pressure on the Congress government through this project tour, focusing on the lack of timely repairs to Kaleswaram and failure to store water.

The BRS contends that the issues with Kaleswaram are being exaggerated. They state that the Medigadda barrage has endured recent heavy rains. KTR recently tweeted that the Congress conspiracies were swept away in the raging Godavari, and that the Kaleshwaram project will stand proudly and resiliently. However, KCR’s resolve is prevailing, as evidenced by his comments that the Jal Aarti is declining. On the other hand, Congress ministers and MLAs, including Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, are spreading false propaganda about Kaleswaram.

They are alleging that the project has cracks and is sinking in the sand. It is also claimed that the government is neglecting to pump water through the Kaleswaram pump houses despite the projects being ready. BRS leaders have stated that their visit to the Kaleshwaram project is in response to KCR’s directive to exert pressure on the government in this matter.

BRS MLA Putta Madhukar recently visited the Medigadda project and reported that Medigadda is holding ten lakh cusecs of water. The team, led by BRS Working President KTR, is embarking on a tour, generating considerable political interest.

BRS leaders will arrive at the LMD reservoir this evening. Following an inspection of the project, the BRS team will stay overnight in Ramagundam. Tomorrow, they will visit the Kannepally Pump House at 10 am and the Medigadda Barrage at 11 am, before returning to Hyderabad
