Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan announced that the state has been allocated an additional 6.50 crore working days under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, benefiting 54 lakh working families. He also mentioned that arrears due to employment guarantee workers will be promptly released by the Central Government. Additionally, he condemned the recent attack on forest department employees in Vijayapuri Southrange forest and warned of strict action against the perpetrators.
