Special Puja Held on Chaitra Amavasya at Indrakeeladri Kshetra

On the occasion of the  Chaitra Amavasya, special daily pujas were conducted for Sri Durga Malleshwara and the family deities at the sacred Indrakeeladri Kshetra. Devotees participated in various arjitha sevas in the presence of the Adi couple, with tickets for the main sevas sold a month in advance.

Special pujas included Suprabhata seva, Khadgamalarchana, Laksha Kumkumarchana, Sri Chakra Navavaranarchana, Shanti Kalyanam, Suryopasana, Ashtottaram, Sahasra Namaam, and more. Over 400 devotees participated in the Chandi Homanna puja, purchasing 197 arjitha seva tickets. Many booked their tickets via the Andhra Pradesh Government’s WhatsApp service.

To manage the crowd during the wedding season and summer rush, temple staff ensured efficient queue management and crowd control. From the morning, Rs. 500 tickets were halted, and access to the inner sanctum was temporarily suspended to ensure smooth darshan for all.

Devotees received prasad and daily food offerings with devotion. Cooling stations distributed free drinking water and buttermilk to quench the devotees’ thirst. Efforts were also made to accommodate elderly, disabled, and mothers with infants for a quicker darshan.
