Extensive arrangements are underway for the resumption of Amaravati development works, which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Preparations are being made across 250 acres behind the Velagapudi Secretariat to host the event.
Prime Minister Modi’s rally is expected to attract a crowd of around five lakh people. To accommodate the gathering, the government is preparing three separate venues. It is estimated that about 30,000 people will participate in Modi's roadshow ahead of the public meeting.
According to the finalized schedule, Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Gannavaram Airport at 3 p.m. on May 2. He will then travel by helicopter to Amaravati, reaching the helipad at 3.30 p.m. From there, he will participate in a 1.2-kilometre-long roadshow, which is expected to last around 15 minutes, leading up to the main rally venue.
At around 3.45 p.m., Modi will visit the Amaravati Pavilion. A public meeting will follow, scheduled from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., during which the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Amaravati reconstruction works estimated to cost one lakh crore rupees.
After delivering his address at the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to return to Gannavaram Airport and depart for Delhi at 5.20 p.m.
