MLC Teenmar Mallanna suspended from Congress

MLC Teenmar Mallanna has been suspended for violating party rules. The chairman of the party's disciplinary committee, Chinna Reddy, issued the suspension order. The party high command is taking a serious stance not only against actions that contravene party decisions but also regarding the destruction of copies of the BC caste census. A show-cause notice was issued to Mallanna on February 5, requesting an explanation.

Mallanna was askedto respond by the 12th, but no reply was received. Chinna Reddy stated that Mallanna's suspension is due to his actions against party rules. TPCC chief Mahesh Goud emphasized that there will be no peace if the party line is crossed. He noted that Mallanna has been warned multiple times without any change in behavior. Goud also highlighted that the AICC is serious about the issue of tearing up copies of the BC caste census, stating that Mallanna's comments were highly inappropriate.
