Telangana Minister Konda Surekha Urges Andhra CM to Ensure Implementation of Recommendation Letters for Tirumala Visits
Telangana Minister for Endowments, Konda Surekha, has written a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu regarding the implementation of recommendation letters issued by Telangana public representatives for special darshan at the Tirumala temple.
In her letter, Konda Surekha expressed gratitude for the decision to allow recommendation letters from Telangana’s Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Legislative Council (MLCs), and Members of Parliament (MPs). She thanked Chandrababu Naidu for this positive step, which facilitates easier access for Telangana devotees.
However, she alleged that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials were not honoring these recommendation letters and were disregarding the Chief Minister’s instructions. She highlighted the increasing number of devotees from Telangana visiting Tirumala and stressed the need for immediate intervention to prevent any inconvenience to them.
Konda Surekha urged Chandrababu Naidu to issue clear directives to TTD officials to ensure the proper implementation of recommendation letters. She also requested his direct intervention to facilitate a hassle-free experience for Telangana devotees at the temple.
