Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, who was a great man, is the darling of India. When the country was in a difficult economic time, he demonstrated his intellectual prowess as an economic expert in implementing the economic reforms brought by former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. The economic reforms he introduced have contributed to the rapid development of the country today. The services rendered by Manmohan to the country as a moderate, gentle, knowledgeable, and visionary leader and Prime Minister are very great.

That is why the entire country is paying tribute to that great man today. The death of Manmohan Singh is an irreparable loss to the country. He will remain in the hearts of millions of Indians as the silent architect of modern India, a true genius, and a humanitarian. He will always be remembered in the history of the country. His dedication to public service is inspiring. Without saying much, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh led the country forward effectively from 2004 to 2014.

Many key developments like the Employment Guarantee Scheme and food security took place during his tenure as Prime Minister. It was during Manmohan Singh's tenure that the mobile technology revolution began with the launch of 3G and 4G services in the country. He brought the Employment Guarantee Scheme, which guaranteed 100 days of work per year for the rural poor.

He initiated the process of transferring cash assistance under various schemes directly into the bank accounts of Aadhaar-linked beneficiaries. He made provisions so that some poor students could study for free in private schools as well. Manmohan spent his entire life in the service of the country. Before becoming the Prime Minister, he rendered invaluable service to the country in many key positions related to many countries.

Along with Dr. Manmohan Singh's life story, his services to the country as an economist need to be made into curriculum and taught to students. It is the responsibility of the Central and State governments to take steps so that future generations take him as an inspiration and provide the necessary services to the country. He also led the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government and became the third longest-serving Prime Minister.
