Waiting to see Pawan as CM: Jana Sena leader Kiran Royal
In a noteworthy response to the rising demand within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) to elevate Minister Nara Lokesh to the Deputy Chief Minister's post, Tirupati Jana Sena in-charge Kiran Royal emphasized the long-standing aspirations of the Jana Sena cadre.
He reiterated that Jana Sena leaders and supporters have been waiting for over a decade to see Pawan Kalyan as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Pawan: A leader for all : Kiran Royal highlighted that weaker sections across Andhra Pradesh regard Pawan Kalyan as a unifying force capable of addressing their needs and aspirations.
Describing Pawan as part of a "Mega Brothers" quartet, he acknowledged CM Chandrababu Naidu, Chiranjeevi, and Nagendra Babu alongside Pawan Kalyan as influential figures in the State’s political landscape. Royal urged TDP leaders to focus on alliance goals rather than making statements that could be misused by political opponents, particularly cautioning against giving leverage to YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders like former ministers Perni Nani and Roja.
Expressing concerns over Pawan Kalyan’s safety, Royal alleged that drone cameras had been spotted hovering over the Jana Sena party office in Mangalagiri for two consecutive days. He requested increased security for Pawan, emphasizing his importance not just to the party but to the nation’s political landscape.
TDP leaders rally for Lokesh : In the past two days, several TDP leaders, including AP Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghurama Raju, former MLA SVSS Verma, Sarvepalli MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, and Polit Bureau member R. Srinivasa Reddy, have openly expressed their wish to see Nara Lokesh as the Deputy CM. This growing chorus within the TDP has ignited speculation about how alliance leaders, particularly Pawan Kalyan, will respond to these demands.
