AP Govt to Allocate 44 Bar Licenses Through E-Auction & Lottery
The government will allocate a total of 44 bars in the state of Andhra Pradesh through e-auction and an online lottery. Bars that have not paid their license fees, non-refundable registration charges, and bid amounts will be allotted through the e-auction.
The Liquor Prohibition and Excise Department has issued a notification regarding this process. Interested individuals are advised to register online, with the registration period ending on the 7th of this month. Candidates must pay the non-refundable application fee by the 8th.
The application fees vary based on population:
- For a population of up to 50,000, the fee is Rs. 5 lakhs.
- For a population between 50,000 and 5 lakhs, the fee is Rs. 7.5 lakhs.
- For a population exceeding 5 lakhs, the fee is Rs. 10 lakhs.
The candidate who collects the highest amount through the online process will be allocated a bar on the 9th of this month.
