The South Central Railway has announced a significant enhancement for the Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express
The South Central Railway has announced a significant enhancement for the Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express (train numbers 20707/20708). Currently operating with 8 coaches, the train will have 8 more coaches added from tomorrow, increasing the total number of coaches to 16. This decision comes just ahead of the Sankranti festival, a peak travel season.
With the current configuration offering 530 seats, the addition of new coaches will raise the seating capacity to 1,128. This move is expected to provide greater convenience for passengers traveling during the festive period.
The Vande Bharat Express, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in March last year, initially featured 1 executive coach and 7 chair car coaches. Following the addition, the train will now have 2 executive coaches and 14 chair car coaches, ensuring improved passenger capacity and service quality.
