Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended the book launch event of former Governor Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao's autobiography, Uniki. Speaking at the event, Revanth Reddy highlighted that his government is open to accepting valuable suggestions from opposition leaders if deemed necessary for the welfare of the state. He emphasized that when it comes to state interests, party lines should not matter, and collaborative efforts from both ruling and opposition parties are crucial, as witnessed in other states.
Revanth Reddy clarified that he has no personal biases and is willing to seek advice from anyone if it benefits Telangana. He praised Vidyasagar Rao’s rich experience, noting that such insights are significant for the state's development.
Discussing Telangana’s progress, Revanth Reddy reiterated his government’s commitment to transforming the state into a trillion-dollar economy. He stated that Telangana should aim to compete on a global scale rather than merely with cities like Amaravati. Further, he underscored the importance of central government support in achieving comprehensive development, revealing that he had urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend cooperation in key infrastructure projects, including Metro expansion and the Regional Ring Road (RRR).
