Telangana launches ‘Rajiv Yuva Vikasam’ scheme to support youth

The Telangana government has introduced the ‘Rajiv Yuva Vikasam’ scheme, a major initiative aimed at supporting unemployed youth through self-employment opportunities. Effective from today, the scheme offers financial assistance in the form of loans ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, implemented with the support of the SC, ST, BC, and Minority Welfare Departments.

Eligible candidates must submit their applications by April 5 to avail of the benefits. The government has allocated a Rs 6,000 crore budget for the program, which aims to assist at least five lakh beneficiaries across the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will officially launch the application process today.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, along with BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, reviewed the scheme’s implementation in a meeting held yesterday. The initiative is expected to provide significant economic support and boost self-employment opportunities for Telangana’s youth.
