TGPSC Group 3 Result Date: 50 Percent of Candidates Appeared for the Exams

The Group 3 exams conducted by TGPSC across Telangana for two days have concluded peacefully. This recruitment process aims to fill a total of 1,365 Group 3 service posts. The exams were held at 1,401 centers across the state.

Out of 536,400 candidates who applied for the Group 3 exams, only half of them showed up. Specifically, 273,847 candidates (51.1 percent) participated in Paper 1, and 272,173 candidates (50.7 percent) attended Paper 2. Overall, 50.7 percent of the candidates appeared for the exams on the first day.

Notably, only 50.24 percent appeared for the third paper held on November 28, which indicates that 269,483 candidates took the final exam, as stated by TGPSC Secretary Naveen Nicholas.

It has been noted that approximately 50 percent of candidates attended the exams held on Sunday and Monday. Although 76 percent of the candidates downloaded their hall tickets for the Group 3 exam, the reasons behind the significant number of absentees remain unclear.

District-wise, the highest attendance was recorded in Nalgonda district with 71.3 percent, followed by Suryapet with 66.91 percent and Mahabubnagar with 63.58 percent. In contrast, Warangal district had the lowest attendance at 49.93 percent. The results for the Group 3 exams are expected to be released in the first week of December.

Candidates have mentioned that the questions in the three papers were of moderate difficulty rather than being excessively easy or tough. Experts suggest that those who have memorized key statistics are likely to perform slightly better.

Many candidates remarked that the questions resembled those found in civil service exams. Those who have been preparing for an extended period stand a better chance of succeeding. In the Economy and Development paper, questions included topics on Hydra, the farmer loan waiver, and the Indiramma Indla scheme.
