Sharmila demands arrest of MP Avinash Reddy, Sajjala Bhargava

Andhra Pradesh Congress chief Y S Sharmila has called for the immediate arrest of Kadapa YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy and YSRCP leader Sajjala Bhargava Reddy in connection with the controversial social media posts involving offensive content.

Sharmila accused Avinash Reddy of being involved in the Varra Ravinder Reddy case, where inappropriate content targeting N Sunitha and Y S Vijayamma was shared on social media. She questioned why Avinash Reddy has not yet been investigated or arrested, despite police confirming the links to the offensive posts.

"Why is Avinash not being investigated or arrested? The police should identify who is responsible for these social media posts," Sharmila demanded. Sharmila also pointed fingers at Sajjala Bhargava Reddy, whom she described as the main instigator behind the obscene content.

"Why hasn’t the police arrested him yet?" she asked, expressing concern over the delay in action. Sharmila further emphasized the need for a thorough investigation and swift justice. She insisted that no one involved in these offensive posts should be allowed to escape justice.

"No matter where they might be hiding, they should not be allowed to evade capture. When will those responsible for these posts be apprehended? Justice cannot be served if those behind the scenes are not brought to account," she said.
