Pawan advocates for 10 more years of Chandrababu as CM
Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan expressed his strong support for Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, suggesting that he should remain in office for ten more years, not just five. Pawan Kalyan reiterated that the government would work in line with Chandrababu’s vision for the State's development.
"I promise CM Chandrababu, he should continue for ten more years, not just five," Pawan said, emphasizing his faith in Chandrababu's leadership. “We are ready to take instructions from Chandrababu Naidu and work in alignment with his vision, ensuring the fulfillment of his dreams for the State of Andhra Pradesh,” Pawan said.
He praised the CM’s efforts in transforming the State's economy, projecting a path towards a $1 trillion economy in the next five years. The Deputy CM highlighted the challenges faced by the current government, stating, “We inherited potholed roads and a dilapidated system,” and contrasted it with the current administration’s achievements, such as ensuring timely salary payments on the 1st of every month, a marked improvement over the previous government.
Pawan Kalyan also praised the central government’s support, with funds allocated for major projects like Amaravati (Rs 15,000 crore) and Polavaram (Rs 12,000 crore). He also commended Chandrababu’s handling of the Budameru flood crisis and acknowledged the success of welfare schemes like the Dokka Seethamma meal program.
