Conspiracy against Chandrababu in skill case need to be investigated; Nellore MLA
Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has urged home minister Vangalapudi Anitha to initiate an immediate investigation into the claims made by retired IAS officer PV Ramesh regarding alleged conspiracies in the skill development case.
The MLA emphasized the need to uncover the truth behind what he termed an "illegal case" against Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. In his letter, Sridhar Reddy referred to PV Ramesh's statement, which alleged that key files related to the skill development project were lost across multiple departments, including the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the CID, and the Skill Development Department, under the previous government.
He alleged that the loss of files was orchestrated by senior officials in the then government to target Naidu. “This is not just an attack on an individual but an attack on the entire system,” Sridhar Reddy stated, reiterating his demand for a comprehensive investigation.
He also accused the previous regime of factionalism and conspiracies, highlighting PV Ramesh's claim that the disappearance of critical documents was not possible without the involvement of senior officials in the CMO and important persons in the government at the time.
The MLA further criticized the alleged fabrications in the case, urging immediate action based on the retired IAS officer’s revelations. He argued that a full-scale probe could expose the extent of involvement by higher-ups in the previous administration. Speaking on the issue in the Assembly on Tuesday, Sridhar Reddy reiterated his belief that Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest was orchestrated and unjust, calling for justice through a transparent investigation.
