Ananthapuram DIG

Vijayawada: May 6: The Election Commission took decisive action on Monday by transferring Ananthapuram Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ammireddy from his current position. In a directive, the EC instructed Ammireddy to immediately relinquish his duties and advised against assigning any election-related responsibilities to him. The EC further mandated the transfer of his duties to a subordinate officer.

This move follows the recent transfer of Ananthapuram District Superintendent of Police, Anburajan, indicating a series of administrative changes in response to the ongoing electoral activities.
