After eight episodes, The Rana Daggubati Show will be closing shop. At least for this season. The upcoming finale, which also celebrates the festival of Sankranthi, is led by a reunion between the host Rana Daggubati and his uncle Venkatesh Daggubati, who is also his co-star on Rana Naidu. The Rana Daggubati Show Season 1 finale teaser
On Instagram, Rana shared the teaser of the finale and the last episode has a star-studded lineup. Apart from Venkatesh, the Baahubali actor welcomes director Anil Ravipudi, actresses Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary, who are part of his uncle's upcoming film, Sankranthiki Vasthunam.That's not all, composer Ramana Gogula discusses his comeback to the music industry after 23 years and Aashritha Daggubati, the host's cousin and Venkatesh's daughter also drops in for a chat. Over food and games, the group has a ball celebrating the Sankranthi festival on the show and talk about behind-the-scenes tales from the Sankranthiki Vasthunam set. Venkatesh's 'hangry' moments on set are referred to and Rana brings up one incident from their shoot when he had to save the day with some food.
On Sankranthiki Vasthunam, Venkatesh revealed, “I was slapped by Aishwarya Rajesh’s character multiple times.” To Aishwarya replied, “I did slap him very tightly in the film. When I asked if that was painful, Venky sir told me to go on and slap harder, but do it in one take.”
