I Already Apologized, Why Should You Feel Ashamed to Do So?: Pawan Kalyan

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede incident in Tirumala, which claimed six lives. He urged the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman and members to hold a press conference and issue a public apology for the unfortunate event. Questioning their reluctance, Pawan Kalyan said, "When I have already apologized, why should you feel ashamed to do so?" He further asked, "Should I alone be held responsible?"

Pawan Kalyan also emphasized the need to reduce VIP treatment and increase services for common devotees. He made these remarks while inaugurating Gokulam cattle sheds in Kumarapuram, Pithapuram constituency.

Referring to the political scenario, Pawan Kalyan said, "You all voted trusting the leadership of the NDA and Chandrababu Naidu. One must have the quality to respond wherever a mistake occurs, which is why I sincerely apologized for the Tirupati stampede incident." He added that Gokulams will benefit small and tenant farmers. Pawan Kalyan highlighted that while the previous YSR Congress government constructed only 268 Gokulam sheds, his government has completed 12,500 sheds in the past six months, with plans to build 20,000 more in the future. He criticized the previous government, alleging that it had weakened the dairy industry.

The Deputy Chief Minister accused some officials, who were accustomed to the working style of the previous administration, of becoming inactive. He warned, "For me, authority is not an ornament. If anyone behaves arbitrarily, I will take strict action." Pawan Kalyan expressed his desire for a coalition government to remain in power for at least 15 years. He concluded by stating that he has no interest in money or fame but only in fulfilling his responsibilities. He also announced that he will begin district tours from Pithapuram soon.
