Minister Narayana highlighted that farmers voluntarily provided 34,000 acres of land for the capital within just 58 days. He criticized the previous government's lack of direction regarding the capital's development, stating that they played a "three-way game" without establishing a clear plan.
Since the coalition took office, efforts have been focused on overcoming obstacles in the construction of Amaravati. The authority has already approved tenders worth ₹22,000 crores, with another ₹20,000 crores set to be approved at the upcoming authority meeting on Monday.
Plans include constructing 16 roads running from east to west and 18 roads from north to south across an area of 217 square kilometers. The government is designing the capital with an eye towards the next 30 years, planning to connect the E11, E13, and E15 roads with the national highway from the seed capital.
The process of acquiring forest land along these routes is nearing completion. More housing will be developed, and the designs for the roads will be implemented with consideration for the community.
The E11 road will connect to a service road near AIIMS, while the E13 road will connect near the DGP office, with both roads designed to accommodate speeds of 80 to 100 km/h.
The minister urged those affected by home loss to cooperate with the road construction plans, assuring that officials and public representatives will communicate with those who may be displaced. He emphasized the commitment to building roads without causing disturbance to anyone.
