Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan expressed surprise over the persistent water crisis in Kadapa despite the region having produced two Chief Ministers. Speaking at a parents-teachers meeting in Kadapa on Friday, the Deputy CM shared his thoughts on regional development and the importance of education. "I believed that with two CMs from this region, Kadapa's problems would have been resolved. However, I did not expect the water scarcity here to remain so severe," he remarked, highlighting the pressing need for solutions to the region's long-standing issues.
Pawan Kalyan also emphasized the need to restore Rayalaseema’s legacy in education. "Rayalaseema is the land of education. Once, it was known for its abundance of libraries and the many great personalities it nurtured. It is time to revive that glory," he said while interacting with students and parents. Reflecting on past initiatives, he praised Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for prioritizing the Uddanam kidney disease project, allocating Rs 61 crore for its advancement. He pointed to this as an example of focused governance addressing critical issues.
