Police serve notices to Perni Nani's wife in PDS rice case

Krishna district police have once again issued notices to YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Perni Nani's wife, Jayasudha in PDS rice case. The notice directs her to appear at the Rpet police station on January 1 to assist in the investigation.

This move comes after the Krishna District Court granted anticipatory bail to Jayasudha on December 30, with the condition that she must cooperate fully with the police investigation. Despite the court’s directives, the police faced challenges in serving the notice.

On Tuesday night, they visited Perni Nani's residence, but finding no family members present, they affixed the notice to the door. The court's decision to grant anticipatory bail underlines the expectation that Jayasudha will actively participate in the ongoing inquiry. The ration rice theft case has garnered widespread attention, placing significant scrutiny on the individuals involved.
