AP promotes senior IAS and IPS officers

In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government has promoted several IAS and IPS officers, effective January 1, 2025. S Suresh Kumar who is currently the secretary for Infrastructure and Investment has been elevated to principal secretary in the same department.

On deputation to the Government of India as joint secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Solomon Arokya Raj, an AP cadre officer, has also received a promotion.

Kartikeya Misra serving as additional secretary to the Chief Minister has been re-designated as secretary to the CM. G Veerapandian, who is the chief executive officer of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty retains his position but has been elevated to the rank of secretary.

Cherukuri Sreedharan who is the YSR district collector will continue in his role with a higher designation. Siddarth Kaushal and Vikrant Patil, known for their exemplary service, have also been elevated to higher ranks.
