Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to embark on a foreign tour starting January 15. The itinerary includes visits to Australia, Singapore, and Switzerland. From January 20 to 24, the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will take place in Davos, Switzerland.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Special Chief Secretary (Industries) Jayesh Ranjan, and other senior officials, will participate in the forum from January 21 to 23.
During the 2024 visit to Davos, Telangana secured investment agreements worth over ₹40,000 crore with various companies. These agreements are currently at different stages of implementation, according to industry sources. This year, the delegation aims to attract further investments and has outlined detailed plans for the trip.
Before heading to Davos, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Australia. The original schedule proposed a departure on January 13, but the plan was adjusted to commence after the Sankranti festivities on January 15.
In Australia, the delegation, which includes Government Advisor Jitender Reddy, Sports Authority Chairman Shivasena Reddy, MD Sony Bal, and Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, will visit the Queensland Sports University as part of their agenda.
After a three- to four-day stay in Australia, the delegation will travel to Singapore on January 19. During the two-day visit, they will explore construction models for shopping malls and sports complexes and meet with local industrialists. Following this, they will proceed to Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum.
