"I am not like before, taking care of everything": CM Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asserted that he has adopted a meticulous approach in his fourth tenure, ensuring transparency and accountability in governance. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, the Chief Minister emphasized his proactive stance, stating, "I am not like before; I am cross-checking everything and taking everyone's opinions before making decisions.

This time, I am more careful and looking into all matters personally". Highlighting 2024 as a historic year, CM Naidu said his government has restored hope among the people within six months of assuming office. Criticizing the previous YSRCP government, Naidu claimed, "The systems were destroyed, and Amaravati was tangled in controversies, but I have put it back on track.

Polavaram is also moving forward, and construction will commence soon." Naidu underscored his commitment to social re-engineering, pointing out the appointment of a BC Chief Secretary and other key positions to individuals from the backward communities.

He added, "No other State has received such significant investments in six months. This is the result of our dedicated efforts." The Chief Minister also spoke about the resurgence of the TDP, revealing that party membership had reached 94 lakh members.

He acknowledged the challenges of accommodating aspirations within the cadre, stating, "We cannot give positions to everyone, but I am ensuring fairness by cross-checking and consulting all stakeholders." Naidu took a swipe at the opposition, alleging that many former YSRCP members were seeking shelter in TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena as alliances reshaped the political landscape.

On Telugu film industry When asked about the Telugu film industry, Naidu remarked on Hyderabad’s growth as a film hub and the burgeoning overseas market. However, he emphasized that his focus remains on critical developmental issues rather than cinema.

"We should focus on what matters most for Andhra Pradesh’s growth, and cinema is not our priority now," he concluded. With promises of development, social justice, and meticulous governance, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated his vision for Andhra Pradesh's bright future.
